FEANTSA-Conference 2009 in Copenhagen

FEANTSA (European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless) holds every year a conference about homelessness. This year the theme is:” Participation and Homelessness”.

FEANTSA has selected Copenhagen as the host town and project UDENFOR as the host of the conference which will take place at The Cultural Centre of Copenhagen, Drejervej 15-17, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

FEANTSA is the umbrella organisation of about 100 member organisations which all over Europe  work to prevent and remedy poverty and expulsion of citizens who are threatened by homelessness. FEANTSA is backed financially by the European Union.

During the conference we shall give a wide range of presentations, workshops, and activities which show that both users, professionals, and politicians take participation seriously. And as it belongs to project UDENFOR’s trademark to provoke, challenge, experiment and create debate, the participants in the conference can look forward to experiences and inspiration for their own praxis, professionally, personally and artistically.
